POPS – Why?
Being a parent is a very demanding job. Support used to come from our families; but today many of us live far away and have to cope on our own.
Bringing up our young children can be tough. Sharing anxieties and problems can be a great help - just knowing someone else has the same difficulties can help stress. Sharing the fun is great.
Life can be lonely when you’re at home with a baby; everyone needs friends!
We provide somewhere you can make friends and relax.
It's not only mums/dads who enjoy being with others - it's good for the children too. Learning to play and share with others is important for your toddler.
We want the best for our children - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. So many grow up without spiritual guidance and because of this are in danger of accepting all sorts of influences.
God has given us the guidelines for family life; but if things have gone awfully wrong, He still loves us and helps us to get back on to the right track.
