Aim: Seek Serve and Follow Christ

Our Company is vibrant and progressive aiming to meet the needs of girls from age 3 until late teens.  We currently have a membership of 80 girls and officers. Tuesday evenings are very relaxed and enjoyable with plenty of buzz!!!

Meeting times:
Tuesday
6.45pm to 8pm           Ladybirds (3-5yrs) and Explorers (5-8)
7pm to 8.30pm           Juniors (8-10yrs)
7.30pm to 9pm           Seniors (11-13yrs) & Brigaders (14-18yrs)

Session runs from September to March /April and finishes with a parents and friends night. During the year a very varied range of activities is organised to suit each age group eg

Ladybirds & Explorers

Bible stories with relevant colouring in books. Simple cookery and baking.
Craft for various seasons.  Games and PE/singing games. Christmas party when Santa visits with gifts for all.

Juniors

Bible study with quizzes and relevant games.  PE and dancing. Currently we are setting up a communication with GB companies in the Caribean.  Pen pals may be set in place!!!
Healthy eating/lifestyle encouraged with other fun based cookery.  Shoe boxes filled and sent to Romania each year.  Juniors have a SLUMBER party at Chritmas and all receive a gift from Santa.

Seniors and Brigaders

The officers allow these girls to have an input to their programme.
Bible Study each week is relevant to the age group and modern journals are provided. Coffee mornings to raise funds for Christian work eg Tearfund or the Leprosy Mission are popular as are visits to a local beautician.  This age group enjoy an evening in Lisburn Mall for Christmas Shopping with maybe a Pizza Party before the Christmas break.  Plenty of cookery and baking with crafts of all kinds.  Some evenings the girls enjoy just a chat over a relaxing cup of hot chocolate and cookies Drama is also popular with this age group as is PE and dancing with some unihoc thrown in to use excess enegry. Weekend Camps are organised when possible.
